WEDDING CAKE

Having known Tash and Kyle for a few years I was delighted to hear that they were (finally) making plans for their 2023 Spring wedding. Knowing they would love it I recommend that they check out Northbrook Park and when they did they fell in-love with the Hampshire venue instantly and soon the date was confirmed.

The Venue

Northbrook park is situated in Hampshire (about an hour from London) and is a gorgeous grade II-listed 18th century manor house. This Hampshire wedding and events venue offers stunning outdoor photo opportunities, a walled garden, countryside views, an elegant ceremony room with floods of natural light plus ten on site mews houses offering guests overnight accommodation.

Northbrook Park is the kind of venue that needs little enhancement to bring it to life. Tash and Kyle opted for classic but contemporary wedding decor and a simple colour scheme with indoor white spring blossom trees and petals for the aisle. The result, timeless and elegant.

Morning prep

With plenty of accommodation on site Kyle and the boys were able to get dressed at the venue too.

To add their own twist and personality to their look peacock socks were chosen for the boys to wear with their black tuxedos.

And just to make it all extra special Tash gifted her husband-to-be with personalised cufflinks.

THE BRIDE

Hair & make up by @katiescarlettmua

Tash had no intention of going for classic bridal hair and make up instead she knew she wanted to still feel herself on her wedding day and I love that. Her amazing hair and make up stylist Katie created a flawless bridal glam look and she couldn’t have looked more stunning.

Daughter Arabella taking five

The couple have two gorgeous (lively) kids and everyone did a great job of including them in their big day. I’ve seen many children overwhelmed on the morning of a wedding, especially when it’s their parents getting married. It’s so important to have familiar friends and family around to keep them occupied (and clean) and enable you to relax and enjoy the morning preparations and as you can see Tash managed this very well (a couple of glasses of fizz may have helped) and despite the chaos behind the scenes she not only managed to look incredible but also lapped up every minute of excitement.

Arabella even tried on Mummy’s shoes.

Father and Son checking each other out in the mirror.

Almost time to leave for the ceremony…

THE CEREMONY

A unique wedding entrance from Kyle lead in by the boys kicked off what was to be a fun (mildly chaotic) civil ceremony. Kids strayed, guests cried and the couple got through their vows with lots of giggles and massive smiles.

SIGNED SEALED DELIVERED

The thing I love about this couple the most is that they keep things very real and above all else are extremely loving people.

The people they chose to surrounded themselves with obviously adore them as individuals and as a couple and family unit.

True friendships, a loving family and a s**t load of fun is what they are all about. The fact that they look like Vogue models is just a bonus for my portfolio (and I am not complaining obviously).

Speeches are always a highlight for me. It’s a wonderful opportunity to honour people you love and care for. Sometimes they are hilarious, sometimes super emotional, some people say a lot with just a few words and others say a little too much.

Big respect to Kyle who free-styled his and chose to speak from the heart. He reduced his Mum and Sister to tears (in a good way) and showed massive appreciation for friends and family.

Tash our modern bride had to of course have the last word….

The evening shenanigans were kicked off with a wicked first dance from the couple and it didn’t take much to get the party started.

Bridesmaids in pjs, guests busting out all the moves and heels were off!

This wedding was super special in many ways, from meeting Tash for the first time for a cake smash session when Arabella turned one, photographing their son Ace from newborn to seeing them every Christmas for a (stressful) mini session at my studio, our relationship has developed into a friendship that involves great chat, coffee and sandwiches and I for one look forward to many more of those in the future.

I am beyond grateful that I was chosen to capture this epic day and huge milestone in their lives along side their family and friends. You guys really know how to do love.
